RE4 is one of my fav games, I would not say it was scary, but it had a few moments.
I really am just glad Routine is bringing us back to combat being scary. I mean most games these days dying is just WHAT HAPPENS and then you reload a save, its hard to care about living or dying, its an inconvenience. The FPS plus a more immersive way of handling the UI will help 'get into the character' I think, completely no HUD at all, all menus are used in the game in real time, you have to check your 'gun' etc, I like the way they are approaching it to make it feel very tense, but in an exciting way, not in an WHAT THE HELL GAME WHY DON'T I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING way. 958

Its a place my dad and new wife bought to fix up, it was a dump, now its at least habitable but we're working on it almost every day. Not cold, was 78 degrees while we were working today, falls to around 55-60 at night. Some days are cooler but generally at least 70ish 959

Ok I'mma ask nicely, both of you take the discussion/argument over permadeath somewhere else please, I'd like to discuss THIS game not one game concept present in any roguelike.
ON TOPIC This is shaping up to be the first actual scary game in a while, the last game that felt that tense was Amnesia, and before that the only scary games I'd EVER played (that were ACTUALLY SCARY i mean) were Silent Hill 2 & 3 960

The game isn't out yet, and most likely won't be free, its in indie job by like 4 guys and since its not a mod its probably going to cost a few bucks.
