Massive Attack FTW, I completely forgot the name or any songs, and was looking for a song (teardrops) for years and years without finding it, until me and my bf were searching for music and he just randomly played it, and god, you know the feeling of finding a song that you loved, and finding it years later?
I shit you not I was the same way with "what's up" by three non-blondes (the he man song), cause I heard it as a kid at a gym and always sung it in my head and the heman version came on TV and I was like OOH MY GOD.
And Orinoco Flow by Enya, mom used to play it in the car for me to calm me down, then I heard the Celtic women version on a Zelda amv and was like SUPER HRNGG OMG CHILDHOOD MEMORIES SO MUCH FEEL UNGG.
Four. Four Non-Blondes you heathen. That was like me trying to find this song after 10 years: We should start a thread about finding songs you remember from long ago but have no idea the title or band/artist How are you guys talking about chill/ambient music and Boards of Canada hasn't been mentioned yet?
I don't really like Ratatat, the songs are too simple for me, and they only have like 2 instruments per song so its kinda dull.
Tycho is amazing Dive is in my top 10 albums of all time, the old stuff is good but more like Boards of Canada with the creepier vibe.
What's Massive Attack like, I've heard the name but not their music

How do you even do funnight on ZM? I mean in ZPS it was going to wacky maps, but in ZM, wacky maps and silly behavior are an everyday occurrence.

I hated vent because A. it was annoying to use and B. I always remembered the horrible fights we would have when creating CG (we had like a 3-day long argument over the name, at LEAST)
But if we would have meetings to discuss important things, like apparently we have a money issue people have alluded to? I would get TS for that, it is important enough.

Um, who is "Guvna"? I've never heard of such a person in CG.
I believe he was talking about this Guvnuh.
Well what does that guy have to do with any of what happened? I've never seen this person in my life @_@

Human nature is war. The biggest of pushes of our technology have been in times of war. Canning of food and learning how to preserve it and keep it safe longer? War. Some of our biggest advances in Medicine? War.
This. Also war will exist as long as people hold beliefs they are willing to kill people over. As long as people retain the belief that it is justified to kill people to get what they want, war will be there.Personally i wish we could just have like, international boxing or something to settle disputes, or like, international LAN party

It's dope, I posted this somewhere a while back.
Christovski introduced me to Blockhead a long time ago and I've been jamming to him ever since.
If you haven't downloaded all of his albums yet, get to it.
Blockhead is king of chill beats.

I was thinking about picking it up for PS3 but I might get it for PC given my HDMI doesn't work on PS3. I could play it with A/V but that's booooring.
Yeah eff that, I just moved my xbox to my HD monitor and it looks so bad with just AV I'm buying an HDMI cable online to solve the problem augh!

All I want to know is why with teh ZM HA situation, Old Crow and Cadaver got nowhere talking to Inject, but as soon as Towersheep said something to Inject, he put up the HA nomination thread like 15 minutes later.
So where is the disconnect with communication here? Do we need a better way for the CLs to communicate with each other so messages don't get lost and things don't get missed?
It had nothing to do with Tower. It was Guvna, he was respectful and keep on about the situation.
Um, who is "Guvna"? I've never heard of such a person in CG. TS told us it was him who convinced you into action so that's all I had to go by, hence my confusion. Now are you saying cadaver and old crow weren't respectful about the situation and that's why you didn't respond to them? I'm not meaning this to sound like criticsizing, I just want to understand what happened so next time its not a drama fest and stuff can get done.

Cookout at a friends house, ha had some crappy instruments and a couple little amps hanging around so we brought them outside and tried to find songs that more than one of us knew how to play. It was entertaining at least.

I have been told to keep things secret by people in the CL group, and things are often done where noone is aware things are going on, in my experience. Like the ZM HA situation where noone got Inject to respond until Towersheep said something to him, why did towersheeps request work but noone elses?
I agree with Cortez, more announcements would be nice, we usually get one per 3 months and they grow irrelevant quickly

Another point: We've had 2 applications for Global Mod, and they've been up for over a week. Why haven't any CL's said anything is being done with them? Are they waiting a certain amount of time? Are they thinking about approving them?
Why don't they at least give us some sort of status update on these things, so we have some idea of what is going on, rather than waiting forever for something to happen, while not having any idea what is happening with them.

I think C418 is just one guy, not a band.
I miss having the time to spend in MC.
