Seems like an effective balance between ameritrash* and euro-game. I honestly like games like this. It seems good enough, and short enough time frame to achieve the balance between maintaining interest and not making it too short. I'd recommend changing some names of the classes, but aside from that it looks easy to pick up on but deep enough to where it drives political strife between players to make quick alliances.
*Ameritrash is not a insulting term, it is used in referrendum to a style of game that is focused on combat and direct player confrontation, IE RISK, Twilight Emperium, Arkham Horror, etc. Some of my favorite games in this catagory, its just the name that stuck with it because even with the utmost strategic planning, the fate still comes down to dice.
thank you! haha i'm glad you like the idea. and yeah, stuff like names and details like that i will definitely change in time, right now it's all kind of sloppy because it's in its beginning stages. And yes, i was hoping for it to be a very political game, each player has to plan out their attacks very carefully based on the identities of the other players. i'm hoping that despite everything being based on the roll of a die, there's enough strategy involved that players feel like their choices matter (i mean, i think they do).

Hey guys, this post is gonna be kinda long so you can tl;dr it if you wish. i take a class for my Game Design major called Elements of Game design and for our final project we have to create an analog game and perfect it in the coming weeks until the end of the semester. I have created not only the concept for it, but i have also set up the rules which (i'm hoping) i'll be able to attach to this post. if you are into games and gaming and care to read it, that would be great. any feedback in general would be really helpful. tell me what you guys think! thanks

for me, music either has to convey a feeling or emotion, or it has to sound completely unique to me. I like the music i like because a lot of the time, it's emotionally charged and conveys a certain 'vibe' as i like to think of it, a certain feeling either in the instrumentation, or the vocals. i find that music that lacks emotion is uninteresting to me. i don't like listening to someone sing about something emotional if his voice lacks conviction, or if the instrumentation lacks the energy or timbre to accompany it. at that point, it just seems contrived.
moving past the "emotion" of songs, the music also has to stand out to me creatively. the artists don't have to impress me with incredible skills, but they need to produce something i felt like i've never heard before. i like the bands i like because they have a sound that seems different to me. meaning, i can't name another band that sounds EXACTLY like them. they can take elements from other bands, sure, but i like stuff i feel like i've never listened to before. but that's just me.

Topic: FF (team shooter, T-kers)
Details: how about putting in a plug in or something that reflects the damage onto the team shooter or tker. Say i shoot someone the damage is not on him but on me for not being careful enough and shooting the other player. or does damage to the other player and the teamshooter, tho i would make it more damageable to the teamshooter.
I really back this idea. Honestly, why not? You could say, "Oh, that's what all the admins are for." but I really can't see how this would be a bad thing. It would discourage teamkilling as well as give players an extra sense of comfort. All the time players come on and ask "hey, does this server have mirror damage?" and after they find out it doesn't, they leave shortly afterwards. And I've played on servers with mirror damage... it actually gets the job done. There would be no downside to it, unless you don't want to make all of our jobs a little bit easier. I had someone ask me why we didn't have the damage sound for the hidden on. To specify when the hidden takes damage personally and goes arghhhhhhh haha. I thought it might be interesting to test out on the servers. Honestly I am not personally for it or against it but it may be worth looking in to if anybody else likes the idea.
Damage sound? As in the plugin that makes a beeping noise when the hidden is hit or the scream? Personally I never liked the scream too much, it makes it a lot easier to kill the hidden since when he is hit and when he screams it follows him around (the hidden's job is hard enough without it). If you mean the beep plugin that might be a good idea.. I always like to know that I've hit the hidden =D. On most servers though the beep is super loud and distracting, so it would be a good idea to turn down it's noise (if possible).
I am super in favor of this beeping idea. The Hidden Empire servers have it and it's so useful. I agree that we should turn it down though. But yeah, I like to know that I've hit the hidden, especially with the extremely choppy hit detection on our servers. It'll take 4 squirts of blood before I've probably even hit the hidden once, but with hit detection, I'll find out right off off the bat if I got him or not. I like it.

+1 for me. Proxy is a solid, nice guy and he's another regular who i always see on the servers consistently. definitely knows the rules, and for sure would be a valuable asset to our admining force.

FUCK guys tomorrow I'm seeing one of my other favorite bands in the world. i'm so god damn excited. if Brand New is my number #1 then they're my #2 by far. you should all check them out- they're called Title Fight. for their genre they're so unique and innovative, and they definitely put a new spin on punk. i don't know any band that sounds like them
