Windows 8 isn't really bad, it's just that it's not Windows XP or 7. It entirely depends on if you want to learn a new operating system since it does work somewhat differently.

I say get a full sized tower for additional space and easier setup.

Other than that it looks good.
It's horrible... Not because it doesn't run well... Not because you can't play games on it.

You can do all of that. It's what Windows 8 Stands for.
DO NOT GET WINDOWS 8.

You are worse then Hitler if you do -_-

why not 2 seperate 1 TB drives. And put them in RAID0
Also fuck the overpriced RAM. Regular is good.

Waste of munies.

I'm a noob, what good ram would you suggest? (I am getting 8 gigs though)

I would be able to barely scrounge up the cash for this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12PZe Is that good sir Finnie?

Also, will someone tell me a good reason NOT to get a Radeon card? I understand Nvidia is faster, but how much faster if I get the latest Radeon card?

#1 holy crap the new GTX 770 is out I'm stoked

#2 apparently they are about even right now with Radeon, my advice is search for video card comparisons between the nvidia and radeon cards and look for in-game benchmarks these will show the FPS comparisons between the cards, and SHOULD show you a few games so you can see how they would perform in the kind of games you want to play, rather than being confusing with hardware specs and other bullshit, the FPS gives you an easy way to tell the performance.

When I got my GTX 570 last year I used comparisons to find that the GTX outperformed the similarly priced radeon card in games I wanted to play like Skyrim and ME3

here it looks like the GTX 770 is even with the Radeon 7970 so maybe go with which one is cheaper

Get whatever GPU is best for your price range, also if you aren't going to get the i5-3570k you shoud probably get the FX-8320 its in the same price range as the CPU you have listed ,but would probably be a better choice for gaming. Also I have to manage with a 600GB hard drive which also houses my OS, if you keep your system organized and clean you can easily manage with 1TB. If you really need more space adding another HDD later isn't hard.

Seeing as you are getting an OEM version of windows I highly recommend you get a small SSD, it will heavily speed up your boot times and will have a way smaller chance of failure seeing as you can only install OEM on one storage device.

I'm really like how this is looking: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12SMa

Thoughts?

Edit: Changed Motherboard.

Edit 2: Added a Wird Network Adapter, and changed the power supply. Is that power supply powerful enough?

You probably shouldn't skimp the motherboard to much, also a 1000 watt PSU is overkill even for a machine running multiple GPUs. You should also make sure the motherboard you get supports your ram.

Edit: a 700 watt should be enough

There are no incompatibility notes on the site, I'm guessing that means it does. How do I check?

Edit: 99% sure I figured it out, and it says that the memory type on the motherboard is the same as the ram. And there are 2 slots for Ram.

Edit 2: Just changed the card from sapphire to gigabyte since it was cheaper, they practically both have the same ratings: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12T49

Edit 3 (I know, I keep making changes!): Found cheaper ram, it's also compatible with my motherboard and has the same ratings as the last.

The motherboard you chose doesn't appear to support the FX-8320

It says when it doesn't support something, it wouldn't let me use the other motherboard I had on it because that didn't work with it, you sure? They both have AM3+ sockets.

It wasn't on Gigabytes list of supported CPUs, the highest it went was the FX-8100.

Do PCs actually need sound cards these days?

(I legitimately don't know, I haven't had a dedicated sound card in like 7 years)

After talking to my dad, they don't. Considering that, I've updated some things: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/12XWZ

A lot of input from my dad (He works with PC's on a daily bases, so I trust him.) I like how it is. Suggestions? Feedback?
