I have 3 SSDs.

1 256GB Samsung 840 Pro (Windows install and the rest Primary STEAM) only about %15 left just for the sake of the drive life

1 256GB Crucial M4 (The rest of my steam Library) Only about %12 left for sake oft he drive

1 80GB Intel X-25M G2 that is used for MMO's  and roll over of my Steam Library.

I fucking hate load times and I am addicted to SSD awesomeness like CRACK!

I also have a 1TB that is about 75% full with all my junk fort he past 3 years that gets stored away every time I reformat or put a page file or I need to store other temp files to save cycles on my SSDs.

I may not have the most used space, but all 400GB+ of it loads in a SNAP!

Oh and to comment on the Server box only used less than 10Gb of RAM or whatever so 32Gb is not valid.

While I have to agree that 32Gb is a heck of a lot of Overkill, unless you are compiling. Comparing a Desktop PC use to what a Server does is just utter nonsense.

I mean shit if I had 16Gb to spare, I would be loading up a RAM drive for my games to play in.

It wouldn't be hard to copy over all the game files of Gmod to that at each start up. That would take what like 1 minute on an SSD to the RAM drive.

And While SSD is fast...RAM is still waaaaay faster than SSDs.
Like Best SSD boasts a 500MB/s transfer (That you never actually get in real life anyway)
now RAM with a memory clock frequency of 100 MHz, DDR3 SDRAM gives a maximum transfer rate of 6400 MB/s

So think about it again...32GB of Instant access cheaper cost also no evidence left behind since it is volatile. Sounds like a dream.

FYI, my PC is the host of: terraria server, Gmod server, i only put them up when i use them, so that is a side note for the 32 GB

273 GB. Would have easily broken 400 GB but I lost about 3 years worth of CS:S maps, demos, skins, etc.

I have 205 steam games. I got portal 2 on release, never installed it. I got skyrim when it came out and played that for only 42 mins.

Reason why i have only 65GB? i don't install all my games. I only play css and csgo!
