(=CG=) Agentorange Admin Abuse

I am [HOLES] xXEvilcrystaLXx requesting revoke admin/ban on player (=CG=) Agentorange. (STEAM_0:0:8237424)

The abuse occurred on Trouble in Terrorist Town Server (66.150.214.82:27017)

The abuse consisted of freezing and gagging all players, then unfreezing/ungagging and gagging me after saying "That's pretty bad abuse there."

This happened around 6 PM PST.

I feel my use of admin powers was justified. After a messy of a round, lots of RDM, everyone was talking over each other. So to keep the game moving in an orderly matter and address the problems in the least amount of time, I gaged mic usage from the server, to keep traitors from gaining unfair advantage over innocents without their mics I froze everyone. I said what I had to say to address the issues and unfroze, un-gaged the server. The whole thing must have taken less than 20 seconds. But after the complainant continued to troll about abuse, even after I directed him to these forums to make his complaint, therefore I gaged him the remainder of the round, but he left.

Hopefully you'll have better results in this section than I have. It seems like most of the admins here try to cover for each other.

In my thread, several of the admins didn't even fully read my post as they claimed that I had no proof for killing two traitors when I explicitly stated that I did.

They even had the nerve to call me a liar and claim that I RDMed several times in the map when I had photographic evidence proving my karma stayed at 1000 karma. Either I'm a liar who manages to only RDM against traitors or just maybe I was actually playing the game and knew who the traitors were due to evidence and logical thinking (watching & hearing the two traitors kill the detective and an innocent and flee the room after identifying their bodies).

Remscar, who claimed that I had no proof, most likely didn't read my post or look at the images since the two traitors did have kills. It's also funny how the admin who recommended him for trial admin was FearlessTh0r. On top of this, they nitpick at the 5 minute ban when I even stated that the 5 minute ban was not my concern, but the abuse.

I think AgentOrange had a valid reason. He gagged and freezed everyone, basically he paused game play to address an issue that needed to be taken care of. He probably prefers asking questions and then shooting.

I must admit, I did not time it, but that is the length of time perceived by me.

NOTE: Admin abuse is altering gameplay in their favor or threatening or wrongfully punishing players for no reason.
Admin OVERUSAGE is when an admin beacons himself or basically dicks around with admin but doesn't trully affect gameplay but may be quite annoying. If it is possible also state which of the following the admins were doing (admin abusing/admin overusing/both)

not a smart thing to do, freezing players so they can hear you speak is not the right thing to do. muting players fair enough but not freezing

It isn't abuse at all what he did. !freeze and !gag are permitted in the right situations. (http://www.conjointgaming.com/forum/index.php?topic=932.0) He was adressing a problem from what I have read. I doubt agent would abuse period.

How are you coming to the assumption that it was a legitimate complaint? Did you hear his complaint? It was with my best judgment to gag him, because he continued to disrupt normal play with his complaints, even after I told him how he needs to come on here to report admin abuse.

If I mute players and a traitor takes advantage of the mute to attack and kill innocents, then I receive more complaints from the innocents.
