How about most of the people that run the Republican Party? (not the people that align themselves so much, but the guys that get voted in.......there is much to be desired)

I mean, you have alot of their leaders saying that its not the message that is wrong, is that they people to conform to their message. That really doesn't make sense, you can't force people to agree with you.

At any rate, both parties suck anyway. There really needs to be a new party that is like the Wigs or something, a party that will actually cater to their peoples needs, not vote along party lines 'just cause'

Our current system of government does not allow for third partys. If you so vote for third parties such as the libertarians, you actually hurt yourself. You deprive the party you hate least of your vote and increases chances that the party you disagree with the most of winning. So as of right now, a vote for third party is a wasted vote.

The republican party needs to get their shit together because their current pursuit of adhering to the extremists just undermines more traditional republicans. All the republicans in my family voted for Obama over even a Moderate like Romney because he set himself up as far right conservative to get the republican nomination. Not to say I personally mind if the republican party loses votes, but next time they win I just hope it isn't the likes of Rick Santorum.

Well good luck, because they keep saying that their problem with the last two elections was because a moderate was the canidate. Basically it looks like they will go full right next time if the big shots in the party have the say aka Rick Santourm or Rick Perry if he runs again.

Man, if only Colin Powell or John Huntsman would run/run again. Sad that some of the smartest people in the reps party get drowned out by the idiots.

Well technically it does, there is no limit. The problem is that all the current third parties don't give us a viable alternative, as the majority are some stupid party that want to legalize one thing (pot, not harming animals, etc) and have no other platform to run on.

We need an actual third alternative, a party that can actually cater to more people and something that is for the people. Get a good enough candidate and I wouldn't doubt it that a third party could actually make some headway right now considering the fighting going on in politics.
