I'm making a Pokemon General thread regarding the games.

Discuss anything about the game.

I've currently deleted my previous save on Black 2 (1 Badge and 15 Hours because my old DS had a broken Sleep Mode) So I completely tossed that save and just started over.

I'm planning to run through every game only using the Water Starters
And for Black 2, I have no idea what the layout or story is. I also have no idea what Pokemon are in the game so it'll be completely blind for me.

Platinum, nicknaming everything I get, every single one.  No bullshit just straight playing the game, no grinding unless I need to, none of that crazy specialized training or emulators to cheat things.

Boodoo - Budew (looking for good grass replacement for this one)
Psyderp - Psyduck (looking for good water replacement for this one)

So far one badge going for second, no favorites yet too early noones evolved enough to be much good

Progress:
 I'm currently in the city of the fourth Gym badge but just grinding my pokemon for now. Trying to get all the ones that evolve before 30 all nice and strong before moving on with the game. Still unsure which pokemons to use for the whole game, will probably be unsure for a while.

Ok I now can catch a Buziel or Shellos for a water pokemon, either of these any better than Psyduck?  Shellos has ground moves which seems awesome, but only one water move until WAY later so to me it looks like a gamble

Started playing gold a little while back, now I gotta hit that up since you guys said something about Pokemon.

Yeah that was my opinion on it when I first started playing and I gave up for some reason after the first gym badge and hadn't played until the other day.

Now that I'm playing again I've come to love it just like any old Pokemon after you motherfuckers made me crave it so much. It's only gen5 Pokemon too which makes it weird but some of the Pokemon are badass like the first few here.. but there are definitely some dumb ones like the gear.. that evolves into 2 gears.. that combines with another gear.. It's a really fun game so far though; I have battle animations off and text on fast though so things move quickly. I grind hard dawg; and it's not too painful for me at least.
