Server Lag :'(

Hey CG,
In my time of playing on the server i have noticed a lot of lag and i have noticed that a lot of players pings go very high and i don't think it's because of them i think it's because of the server you guys dont have to inprove the server im just suggesting that because you might loose some players because if they join for the first time and it laggs a lot they might just leave and not want to come on and show there friends about it i suggest get more ram or inprove by putting about a bit less maps which we dont like or need or play that much

If we had the ability to improve the server anymore than we already have; don't you think we would of done so?

If you donate some $$$ maybe we can afford some upgrades.

Removing maps will only clear up disk space, and that won't help improve the performance of the server.

yea CG server is alot more choppier then most, new update fucked it and theres no coders for cg to fix it. this is CG related because ive been playin on other ttt servers and they run fine

It's hard for me to test as my ping usually hovers between 15-20 on full server

I don't think it has anything to do with ping. It's probably some unkown issue with the server/provider.

Sounds like OP probably is though, and if Tendovvi isn't having problems with Lag this kid has to be further away than he is. Or have shittier internet.

Depends what he's talking about, but what he's describing might be the occasional lag spikes.

It can become unplayable (movement lag) at times, usually fixed by the map change. Annoying at most, but it is kind of common when I'm on.

Back to what I was saying I could code for CG since I am learning LUA

And about the lag, I only lag because I live in Australia which makes me hard to see people lag. And yet again Nexus had 30+ ping once which usually he gets like 5-10 ping...
