Expanding and movie night

I recently opened up a topic about getting a new jailbreak server and I thought that we could expand to an entirely new game and open up servers there like CS:S. There are many different types of server options like Jailbreak, ZM, Multigames. It will also bring a lot more members into cg.

Also I wanted to suggest bringing movie night back on gmod. We had movie night when wholegrain was still here but since he is gone we could probably do way more organized than it was. We could have it Friday for like an hour or two.

yeh we could probly do that, we also won't have that massive surge of non-CGers from the steam group.

We are expanding, slowly. We've had CSS servers before and I still don't think we'd have the interested community to make that move yet but as we gather more and more people who do it's a possibility. Theoretically having a new server brings in more players but often this is not the case. We need the new players who are interested first, instead of throwing some admins on a CSS server and hoping people eventually join the community. Given our standards for admin which basically feels like "Play on our servers for 1-4 months and get X posts on the forums then you can apply" I don't think we'll just have newcomers pouring in.

I'm all for movie night and expanding the community, which we're already doing with NS2 and whatnot; and maybe soon we can try a CSS server but I think we're doing fine for now.

Well, if we could do netflix I suggest we watch The Grey, that movie is fucking awesome.
