Pillz all wounds heal with time. It might just be too early, to fresh in everybodies mind what he did, because when you look back at the posts he put on the forums he clearly is trolling, and instead of stopping he kept pushing until he reached the tipping point and went too far

I kind of miss extreme debates with Crypto through PM's, but if even one person objects to the appeal, I don't think we can do much about it...

I was given another chance though, so I don't really know why Crypto shouldn't be given one. Considering how even though I thought he pushed some boundaries, there are chances that he managed to change a partial bit of his personality within a year...

You're right, but I'm sure there are many people who would prefer I was not a part of this community as a whole, which is why I had made the original thread asking if people would prefer if I would have left the community or for me to come back. That was kind of my reference. I was never permanently banned on anything.

I swear Crypto adds literally nothing to the community. All he does is troll. We have given him multiple chances and he still fucks up. The practical advantages to unbanning him are pathetic at best. Honestly, there are basically no reason to let him back in. He thinks he can get into the community by riding the "HONESTLY GUYS I HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH" schtick but that's a load of bull.

He was Admin before so he did put some input into the community.

Crypto never fully got a real second chance.  I also like how all of the "newer and noobish" members of this community are quick to shoot him down.  I remember leadership abusing their powers to
personally piss off Crypto (where do I start; removing his threads and not saying why, adding his forum tag to being troll god, and other abuses that were meant as a personal attack against Crypto.  Honestly
the incident was a stain in CG in my eyes.  It was handled poorly by leadership and you as well Crypto handled it pretty poorly although I understand why you got so mad. 

People just don't like you I guess at the end of the day even though I still hold strong that you did nothing to earn you a complete PERMA ban from EVERYTHING in CG

Also Emo was accused of "attempting to dismantle this community" "actively recruit for other communities" and played a part in our coder (Ducky) leaving as well with Kwaurtz

I didn't vote on the Emo getting partial access but I was informed after it was decided and I did agree with the decision but still was not apart of the vote from what I remember.

Crypto went through CG an entire year and even before that I never had a problem with him and was an outstanding member of this community that I can honestly say was a better member than a decent amount of the

Also "creating drama" isn't really a good excuse as we let many members back in who were much worse than Crypto although not banned because they weren't pissing off leadership

Yahtzee technically you should be pbanned under the same grounds for Crypto if I hadn't known you for 4-5 years and you hadn't of stopped instantly. 

I can't stop laughing at how Kwaurtz and DarkEmo who were literally trying to shut this community down with every ounce of their strength including ddosing us and other communities to pit us against each other is on the same level as Crypto who pissed off a few leaders



also half of our leadership would have to be dissolved if we banned Crypto for this reason as I can name a decent amount of leaders who have trolled in the past and were told to stop and did only after getting found out.

Crypto "trolled" within CG which didn't hurt us.  I can name people that trolled OTHER communities and are still here and highly respected.  I am arguing he was banned for bullshit reason at this point nevermind the ban appeal.

I know way more about CG than anyone here does or ever will and our secret operations and other things that we did that I am the last remaining person in this community to know.

Well Tictac was permabanned; yet he's here and admin on ZPS. They're called permabans until they're lifted. Just like the others who have applied for unbans and got them. While if I were in Injects shoes a while ago; I would of hated Crypto's guts too, but I would still give him a second chance a year down the road. They're both about the same age and they both acted rather immaturely about what happened; Inject not even wanting to talk to Crypto, Cadaver and I in a chat about it.

We all make mistakes but mistakes don't define who we are. They make us stronger as we realize what we've done wrong, so we can do right later on. If you really think Crypto would come back and act exactly the same; you're a fool.

He's less of a troll than you who never met him thought; I've seen more and much worse trolling from other members of our community as Doc pointed out.  Crypto will not be an issue; and I still see no reason to deny him a chance. You're not protecting the community from anything; there will be plenty of people we're going to have to ban as time goes on, and maybe unban.

I just want the community to get to know him as I did; and I really wish those who don't know him at all wouldn't think so badly of him.

Look back on his posts? If I could look as far back as the first day I played ZPS and joined SKG forums ALMOST FIVE YEARS AGO, I would; but even then he wasn't a troll. I'm sorry Crow but you don't know Crypto; he was not trolling he was sincerely looking for answers. Both he and I were very angry with the way CG was run at the time; and we both talked back and forth over steam as it happened, and the entire last month or so he had to deal with his posts getting deleted and moved around and he was beyond upset with CG. Perhaps he should of just sat back and dealt with it; but I wouldn't of. Both he and I talked about the "banning of religious threads" before he posted it; it was both of our ideas to see exactly why we can't have it anymore.

The only times I know he was actually "trolling" (God I'm fucking sick of that word ever since people started calling him a troll) was when he came back under Crypot and Twister; pretending to be retarded noobs until he was caught. That's honestly the worst he's had to offer, besides lot's of namecalling that's for the most part deserved.

Fucking thank you; as far as I'm concerned the only issue with him coming back is Inject and maybe 2-4 people who actually knew him that don't like him. Everyone elses opinion is invalid; but seeing as Inject's hardly on the forum anymore it wouldn't be to hard to keep them apart. I think Crypto's claim of being changed involves not starting shit with anyone anymore.

I don't like how people keep phrasing this as a chance and argueing he didn't deserve the ban.  A chance implies he deserved the ban in the first place.  If you're argueing he didn't deserve the ban don't call it a chance.  If you think he deserved the ban, here's my opinion:

Permaban is the punishment, he earns it, he takes it.  End of story.  Tough luck.


If you think the ban wasn't warranted, it's not a second chance is it?




The way I see it:  Going back on a pban isn't the same as a second chance, it's admitting the ban was wrongful.  If we're pbanning someone, before it happens, think if a year or two later they come back and apologize if we'd let them back, if there's a posibility the answer to that is yes, they don't deserve the pban.
