Soo yeah first time actually bothering to check the development progress, im assuming this game is still happening?

If so what are initial thoughts? 
I personally hope they don't butcher it like they did with Zombie Panic. Killing my desire to play the mod all together and killing the original due to lack of players.

Well, I'm looking forward to it, but the constant periods of complete silence have me a little worried. They went for eight months with no updates before finally updating in late December, and it's been a while since there has been any activity. Would it kill them to just throw out a "We're still doing this" every once in a while?

One thing I like is this 'sudden death' thing where zm gets double resources and stuff so that he can make it harder for the few survivors left... makes it much more interesting.

So far seems to be smoother animations, a better netcode, new weapons, I expect they'll announce more stuff later on.
