Imma gonna wait to see what everybody else says but he has apologized to me in steam, he did not realize that it is a rule (although MoTD does come up when you join so read it!!)

I am willing to be lenient due to after mentioned forgiveness and that both his and his friends steam ids are clean. People make mistakes but like I said to him if we find him doing it again don't expect to be back.

Yes i figured that from the way his voice sounded. He also only has 90 hours in gmod and thats not to say 90 hours on TTT. I believe that a day ban starting today would be sufficient. He knows what he did wrong and didn't just come on the forums to complain about being banned.

I'll say this again though, we find you doing it again (and trust me, we have enough experience to notice it) don't expect to get another chance

I'll go ahead and reduce the ban to today, you'll be able to play tomorrow at this time again.
