Everquest 2 or Lord of the Rings Online?

Which one should I try playing? Has anyone played both and know how they both run?
Both are free.

I played LotRO a long time ago for a while, but I could never play it for very long. I really want to play another MMO, but not necessarily LotRO because it's such a grindfest... it takes SO long to level up even with doing quests.

So, what about Everquest 2? Anyone know anything about it?

Yeah WoW is good. I'm going to say Everquest 2 cuz i never played it and LotRO sucked as an MMO. It made my screen feel cluttered and it gave achievments for not dying until a certain level, so when you did die it made you feel like crap. I made it to i think 15 or so until i jumped down a waterfall to find out the water under it was shallow.

If both are free and you have tried and known LOTRO, why not just take the initiative to try Everquest 2?

If it is free to play you are after, wait for  guild wars 2 to come out. I can assure you it is better than everquest and Lotro

I'm going to get Guild Wars 2.

Also i dont feel like playing Everquest 2 right now, im a bit busy with World of Tanks. It cant be worse than what i thought of LotRO though.
