Console gaming is gonna die in 5 years anyway 

I want to beleive that would be true, but the closest thing to it dieing would be some kind of new control/gaming mechaninc we don't have right now.

Nintendo is hurting, they just posted a loss this quarter, Sony and Microsoft said they made no money of selling the consoles themselves and overall their return has not been big. The fact is that PC is going to continue to look better because console's are only going to go up in price. Who wants to pay $800 for something that has limited interface, outdated hardware and no chance to upgrade, when a pc can do all that plus more. Console's may be media centers but its still built to play games primarily and they are losing ground fast to the PC and smartphones

QFT, the only real thing I would buy a console game for, is immediate multiplayer. I bought Dead Island for PS3 thinking I could Co-Op with 2 controllers, turns out you can't, and after I beat it I was done with it. While on the Computer I would probably never of stopped playing, Skyrim's too much of a hassle to play on PS3 because the process of finding it, putting the disc in, loading it, finnally playing and then realizing I can't see shit unless I play on the HDMI TV is annoying.

Though many said the same things about the GameCube, PS2, and Xbox. We all felt it was getting old, and the graphics were falling behind computer graphics. Then comes the current generation where everyone was like PFFT, ITS JUST AS GOOD AS A COMPUTER GAME, and the Wii introduced motion gameplay, etc.

Now we just wait to see what the next Generation has to offer. Nintendo already showed what it's got up it's sleeve, and it looks like they might just win the next generation race. Unless PS4 comes with a PSVita that you can switch your PS4 games over to when you want to go out. I feel like that's the major turning point for the WiiU, the whole take your game with you thing. That and they're stepping up to Blu-ray like graphics, and yepp..

So we shall see where the consoles go, but I honestly can't see them completely dying out for at least another 20 years.

The sad part is that they have completely put themselves in this hole. Nintendo is selling each 3DS at a loss and as I'm sure you already know the same is true for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. What they really should focus is maybe not trying so hard to make the graphic jump this time and try to make it like a media center like I mentioned earlier, that way it will replace dedicated DVD/Blu-Ray players, Movie downloads, Music stereos and the such and could justify a higher cost, of course with the much lower cost of PC's today anyway, it's only a matter of time possibly (and let me state, I believe that the time is now) that the consoles cost as much or more then even the cheapest gaming rig you can build or buy. PC's cover all bases and all the multiplayer action is free, modding is free, you can own your own servers that act as another safety net to catch cheaters and trolls and there is a certain brotherhood (minus the trolls part, they just wont die  ) to PC gaming that just is not seen in most console multiplayer games.

Yeah, with consoles though you don't need to know anything technical and it takes no skill which is why they will continue to be bought.

Also, Wii's run for around 100$, PS3's used with 80Gigs are under 200$, and so on. Idk how much Xbox360's are but I wouldn't be surprised if all the next Gen consoles cost 500$ each..

the people in that video suck so bad. You can tell from the way they spray and don't control their bursts. In a real match they would be raped for spraying because maybe they would get one shot on the guy but by that time the one getting fired apon turns uses controlled bursts and shoots him in the face for example skip to 1:54
