I don't care to expand player base with a 10 slot server. I want it to be there for already active CG people who play minecraft.

If that's epicly successful (unlike our last minecraft servers), then maybe we can invest in a public server of awesomeness, then we'll have a better idea of what to do, and what plugins to have, and it'll be FUCKING AWESOME.

Deeps in bad to our finances.  We have to pay an extra $200+ a year for a mc server of a small size (10-15 slot).  We are going to only have one minecraft server
if the server goes well and people start to play on it than we will probably expand the slots on the server.

I don't get it with faction mod if we configure it properly can't you set plots of land to be only yours and nobody can destroy or take your shit?
if so than I don't see the problem.  I don't even have minecraft anymore haha I am trying to find a workaround to get the server setup so my knowledge on minecraft is
very outdated probably.

If people aren't destroying the shit INSIDE your boundaries, they're destroying everything around it.. If it's public. lol If you put a public server up there will always be that one guy who wants to go fuck everything up..

There are mods out there to look at who edited blocks last and whatnot, and then there's an option to restore it back. Etc. We need to find a MC buff who knows his shit to help out, I've only heard legends of plugins and mods.. lolllololol

This works absolutely wonderful, although it would require someone making the file to have experience or just want to learn.

Uses SQL, and I assume CG has its own. Works like a charm.

Just to answer some of the posts that seem to be misguided. Personally use those on my public server, which we just finished the development on. Moderator abuse isn't even possible on my server. (>.>) Our server is pretty popular traffic-wise, and still everything is managed to remain legitimate and stuff. There are a few very important plugins that you would probably want for precautions though...
