HEY, I EDITED MY POST, NO FAIR. lol but I know a lot of people don't use it, but doctors use feet and inches, while I'm sure they know the metric conversion; but mostly all my life metrics been a rare thing. We did it in school but I haven't seen much of it except when I switch to metric in video games.. lol

but like I said, why is there two different options for measurement again?

I agree its alot easier to Say instead of writing it down as well i mean just imagine someone asks you how tall you are and instead of saying Five foot one you say One point one eight five three five meters

Pounds > Kilograms > Stones > ect.
Miles > Kilometers > ?

Whatever works, right? But my preference is miles and kilograms. (Pounds when I'm talking to other 'Muricans cause then they just look at me like the fuck is a killocam?)

Metric is good for most math based things, but when it comes to measuring hieghts of organisms, its just easier to use feet. The downside is that when youve been measuring things like that your whole life, you have no idea how large a meter is.
