Gaming Headset Whats the best one?

I want to buy my self a nice sexy ass head set with a FUCKING EPIC Mic and good to great sound quality.

Suggestions?

Headsets I've looked at:

Razer Carcharias
Razer Megalodon *a little high on price
Razer Piranha *a little gay so no
EarForce X11 Turtle Beach


What do you guys think :/

I have Turtle Beach DX11's and they work great, bought them for xbox 360 but there even better on computer.

I have the Carcharias, and they're alright. You won't be getting that great quality from a microphone on a headset either. From what I remember the Megalodon is the same as the Carcharias, except that they have a USB sound card and have fancy pants positioning software built in.

Honestly, whether you get a $20 headset or an $80 headset, the mic quality isn't going to be all that different. What I would suggest is buying one of these:

And putting it together with a normal pair of quality headphones, such as

Basically, for headphones, go for anything from Sennheiser, Grado, AKG, Ultrasone, Klipsch, Denon, or Shure, and avoid Skullcandy like the plague.
By buying a pair of headphones and a mic separately, you can be assured of the quality of each, as well as have much better quality at a lower price.

I have the razer carchiaras there good but I bought the logitech g930s since there's wireless but inject since ur an ok dude id sell u them there in ok quality just one of the earcups extend cause a lil peice of plastic that holds it is chipped but it doesn't really bother me so Idk and they sound great for I think stereo or analog or whatever nothing sounds bad with them its crystal clear and the Mic was ok I guess since no one ever had a problem with my Mic I would give u like half off them and stuff of the current price so if u want to buy them just message me and stuff

Yup.  Mine functions fine but the ear part thingies are not attached, they loosely hand by cord, I have to pull it through other side.  I tried duct taping it back together, removed it after many hairs ripped from my head.

Yeah... Bought my headset for 13 bucks and it has lasted me like a year now... Still works
