I've talked with Wholegrain a lot about adding more gmod servers. We still have over 1k in the budget and could afford to buy another box just for gmod servers, but with the protection from DDos it will need, we would run out of funding after a short while. It's possible, who knows.

could always host it off another provider but it becomes less and less practical as we do that with more servers

paying $45 for bandwidth for main server
paying $25 + for vlan for main server
(last months bill was $86 in fees etc.. and this is only for the main serverbox and per month)
our 2nd server is a xenon server and although shitty quality with them we still pay them $24 ish a month for 28 slots)


its all a matter of costs sadly

we put perp on main box = all other servers go offline (not ttt ) and we start losing bandwidth (money)
we put perp on a rented server =    ok but we pay about $1 a month per slot and this could makes us bleed dry months down the road or even a year
we pu perp on a dedicated serverbox = better quality than rented but at least $400+ in start up fees to buy a serverbox and all the other fees that go with it

2 dedicated server boxes (we already have 1) on our budget we would bleed dry in probably 3-4 months and have to shut down the 2nd box all of its servers and it would become useless unless someone sold it

if you can get me a good coded version of perp i can probably give an investment into it but not very much

probably buy a 10 slot perp server and if it does good move it up to 15 or 20
(remember each slot is an extra $1 a month)

Id say lets replace the CSS with a CSGO when it comes out. I think it would be much easier to populate and probably more fun
