Does that mean you can get addicted to food? Yes, you can. If you want something bad enough that you are willing to bend over backwards to get it, it is AN ADDICTION, hands down, it is psychological, not physical however. Physical addictions would be cocaine or caffeine or alcohol. I've actually had to break physical addictions, they are a bitch, you will literally be in pain, psychological ones, not so much.

I just said it wasn't the same. I never once said you couldn't get addicted to eating something. You get awfully emotional over something that isn't important... but to be fair, you can be addicted to a lot of things outside of medication/drugs...

I think alcohol is worse then weed, and should be illegal instead of weed, because alcohol has a stronger effect on your mental and physical stability, obviously more people get killed and kill others(drunk drivers) a lot more often then someone under the influence of pot.

Weed can help with a lot of medical problems for some people like headaches, hunger issues, pain, ect. I have this "friend" that smokes pot for appetite reasons. *cough cough* Because they rarely get the urge to eat normally. But weed could also help with the economic issues the US has, because weed takes in a lot of money and if it was sold like in stores as alcohol is it would be taxed.

Weed does not get you addicted :| like others have said its all in your head, mental addiction, you only think your addicted. If you were actually addicted to weed you would have withdrawals.

Have you ever noticed that commercials and what not protesting against weed, usually make a statement saying that weed makes you want to kill yourself or think you are invincible or go crazy? They pulled all that out of their asses, weed doesn't even have as strong of a mental effect as alcohol does on you. Also weed used to be thought as to cause lung cancer, (I'm not saying its completely false) but research lately has shown that weed might actually help prevent lung cancer by destroying cancerous cells.

I never said that I don't drive stoned because it still has an effect on my driving but I mean that alcohol causes far worse effects. I would love to see them test alcohol vs weed in driving and see just who wins I would gladly throw down $500 on weed being safer than alcohol when it comes to driving. still not saying that weed is totally safe it has different effects on everyone who uses it as alcohol does but just that weed isn't as strong.

well to a degree you can, not withdrawals but you can feel the need for it because you feel that you get your best work done while high. So to a degree you can feel an adiction.

As for the rest I really am not against it, it is basically like alcohol but less damaging to your organs, except the fact that weed can damage your I think it is hipophysial gland (I believe you call it the petuitary gland (I suck at spelling theese things in the english way so accept my engrish glands XD, anyways the one I mean si the one that gives you endorphines). Even though it might damage it, it really is not a problem unless you are a stoner for life kind off guy, if you are then I wish you good luck during your midlife crysis (because midlife crysis + less endorphines = well most likely a severe depression which might cause you to suicide). Also don't be duped by the feeling that you get everything done, because most of what you achieve aren't really achievments when your not high XD

anyways those are my very bland thoughts on the matter.

It may cause a few negative reactions, but I'm not even sure if slower reaction time is one of them.. I know it's what everyone says, but -

GET READY FOR THIS.

I have two separate guitar hero accounts, and one is for being high, the other isn't. Guess which one I always get better scores on. The high one.

The only explanation I have for that, is that weed allows me to play without stressing when I miss notes, or something... Kind of like how if you space out and start thinking while playing, you do really good somehow, or maybe it's just me.. idfk. The less you worry about it the better I can do, and then I also feel amazing hitting crazy solo's with no problem, wondering how my fingers are moving so fast, etc.

THOUGH YES, THIS IS JUST GUITAR HERO, THERES A DIFFERENCE INVOLVING WEED I NOTICED AND YEAH. Positive benefit, imo, so it's relevant.


TL:DR-

When I get high and play Guitar Hero like above^, I do better and feel like I'm amazing. The point is, I felt the same way when I was driving. It's completely different, but I felt it was just easier and stress free.. AND if it causes SLOWER reaction time, how do I even have my usual skill level playing Guitar Hero, if not higher? That's a reaction time game, I'd say, especially with hyper speed on... I've always felt like my reaction time has been unaffected..

Well that is just you pillz, but you're not the only weed smoker.
As far as I learned, weed just give you a boost.

For instance, you smoke it when you're mad. You get more angry.
You smoke weed when you're horny, you're more horny.

Some people may drive while they are driving back home. Le tired, You get more tired.

That's why you don't smoke it when you are doing things that could endanger you. Kinda like side effects of certain medicine that make you drowsy.
