Myst was epic when like win95 was out, i remember the late nights and the tissues............ err i mean searching shit... yeah thats it.

I've only played Myst and Myst: Uru but supposedly it's only the first 3 that are worth playing. Which are the ones that come in the 10th Anniversary Edition.

Woo, let's bump this one up a bit.  Me = MYST Fanboy.  All time favorite series EVAH!  Beat every single one of them.  MYST (the first game) is classic, but I think Riven (the second) is my favorite.  Exile (third) was refreshing since it was made by a different company (Presto Studios), but still kept it's MYSTiness.  Revelation (fourth) was done by yet another company (Ubisoft) and it has a real nice style to it (especially since Peter Gabriel got a song in there, and he voices a character in the game).  End of Ages (fifth) is regrettably the worst in the series since I'm pretty sure it's mostly leftover stuff from their failed MMO-like game, Uru, which still plays fairly well single player (except this one annoying puzzle that literally forces you to stand in one spot and do absolutely nothing for about 15 minutes).  One more plug, the books!  There are three novels written as a back-story to all of it: The Book of Atrus, The Book of Ti'Ana, and The Book of D'ni.  Check them all out if you have the chance.  Cyan Worlds ranks right up there with Valve in my book.
