Fps Drops.

Ok. i'v had Fps Drops on Garrysmod. but only online on garrys mod. i have set my
settings all the way down and still have fps drops. Yet on single player i dont have any fps drops
on good graphics setting. My Computer Info Is

ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics    RAM:  2813 Mb Speed: 2099 Mhz

I have no clue whats wrong. But its getting annoying, Anyone have a Solution?

Could also be your processor... And your video card is somewhat older... If it's under a heavy load on [for example] Richland because of all the explosions, your framerate will drop...

Can you list the processor model?

Yeah, it's definitely your processor... Lower the settings >_> You should be okay... Your PC was obviously made for things that isn't gaming related.

It's on the lowest settings  ??? but it use too work good

ok. i updated my drivers and all but still nothing, so it must be the processer like boxman said. i convinced my
parents to give me alowence now, ill get $10 a week but i will be playing much less. i'm hoping to get enough
money for a a nice desktop near christmas to get a good deal and get a nice computer
so i guess i'll have to deal with it jumping from 3-100 fps

Ok i thought it worked fine on singleplayer, but no its all just terrible its starting to just stay around 3-30 fps on lowest posible settings so i'm doomed, untill i get a new pc, i'm asuming maybe its just burnt out or something. cause it use to work perfectly fine.

i will be playing very minimal sadly,

Ok. Not as bad most of the time  i'v been playing some more and its only sometimes bad. not always, mostly not that bad, chorse dont take that long, only problam is not i wont be able to play until about 5:00 AM

so yea, i'll probably apply for admin soon, get a new pc some day and live happily ever after.

you could have a program/virus that is taking up a lot of CPU/RAM. after garrys mod starts to lag, open up task manager and go to processes. see which one is taking up the most CPU percentage and try ending that process
