Suggestions for New Nvidia Graphics Card

Well as some of you may know, my graphics card has given out on me. Dxdiag does not show any response from the graphics card, so I know 100% it's that.

And so, I am taking note of what graphics card I should get, only under Nvidia. Power supply is 1.5 V, whatever that means, which I am assuming is pretty bad. Don't know if I can get a new one or not, but probably not.

TL;DR : Name good graphics card under 200$, preferably that won't break my power supply of 1.5V, made by Nvidia.

AMD came out with a new graphics card and the graphics card alone has TWO PROCESSORS!!! not two processor cores two motha fucking PROCESSORS!!! I know right? fucking incredible!

Uhm, that doesn't really tell me much. Open up the case and it should be on a sticker on the side of the power supply.

Should say something like... 300w, 450 watts, etc

Wholegrain, that's fucking overkill... You'll only need 900w when you get sli-GTX 580 with a six-core processor... -.-

I googled it further. It's still VERY VERY bad. 350W. Blegh.

But also, to question it, what does the graphics card affect besides the power it's using, like RAM or something. I'm a computer specifications noob.

Mm it simply affects the performance of the output of your PC. The power supply powers everything lol, but 500w is enough for that card...

Well, Code told me that it wouldn't be too hard to switch to a different graphics card brand name, but to the parents buying this for me, it's more unfathomable stuff related to the PC world, so I am going to keep it simple and stay in the Nvidia area.

Besides, they won't listen to me unless they hear the same thing reverberated through the mouth of someone who is a technician in a nearby chain computer store.
