What makes the TTT server so populated, and how can it translate to other games?

This is more or less a question I am throwing out there, and I apologize if this is in the wrong section.

But as I look at the gaming section and check out how the servers are populated, the TTT is more or less always 10+

What may be the reasoning for this?

Garrysmod is a very popular game same with TTT but the reason we are one of the big dogs is all the modded content and from what I hear good amount of admins.

We put our server up around when TTT servers were first emerging I think. Back when the gamemode wasn't official. Plus it's Garry's Mod, a relatively popular game. Although I can say that a fair population is either little kids, people with actual mental disorders or trolls.

The ZPS server seems to be doing fine now.

TF2 has way too many servers, same with CSS.

We got it because we were there with a good server, well modded and we had good admins, this when the gamemode went mainstream.

It's the way the server runs.

TTT is managed efficiently, updated regularly, and modded with exclusive content.

If CG could dedicate as much time to the other servers as it has on the TTT server(s), we'd have some regulars from every server.

I'm pretty sure the majority of CG is from one of the G-mod servers (with the exception of the oldies)
