Nobody is helping to populate and as i thought on the verge of getting a succesful tf2 server the community has backed down when we were so close to getting a good server going

I did a few enhancements to ensure the population stays on longer (non community)


seems everyone has given up on the tf2 server so unless their is a turn around all the work we put in is for nothing and it will eventually die and than shut down again

if it gets populated it will stay populated longer but the problem is nobody even wants to attempt to populate it

i will give it another shot tomorrow

We got rid of fast respawn I thought.
And custom maps have the potential to kill the server so we've been hesitate to add any.

Right, am I the only one who noticed we've only played on frontier final lately? I'm somewhat sick and tired of playing it so I lost interest myself.. Like someone else said, the map selection sucks ass.

Oh? Every time I play, the same few people play and no new players..Obviously it's not working..

Okay, because apparently having the same 4-6 people playing every single day who are being forced to 'populate' isn't attempting to bring players in..

and actually the server kept dying because of a few landmine maps that i recently removed

if you want to add back all of the maps than will i not have to bitch to get you in the server ?

if not provide me a list i will go make edits and i will expect people to populate without me having to say anything and the server to populate and stay somewhat populated (including getting non cg members on there etc...) and i will admit fault and never touch anything on the tf2 server ever again

Can only assume that either the map kills it or the lack of players stresses others and they end up leaving after 3-4 others leave.

that is what it is an assumption from my personal observation

If you have an alternate strategy to get the server alot more populated than provide me with a strategy as detailed as possible cause the current plan won't work if the community won't stand behind the server

Game Nights with a custom game like Prop Hunt or something that we have every few days advertised on the site or while the people join the server to encourage adding to favorites? I'm not sure...

Yeah, I played on the server every now and again but because of the combination of me sucking and frustrating maps, I stopped.
