Granted, once cats learn they can fly they hunt down every Avian bird they can find. Congratulations, Parrots, Turkey Vultures, Pigeons, Ravens, Crows, Chickens, Roosters and Blue Jays are all extinct, and are piled on everyone's doorstep. Which in turn Causes Worms and Rats to overpopulate. Creating some new disease which either Reduces their numbers to almost extinct numbers or drives them extinct. Once Rats go extinct Scientists start testing on Humans more often. One Scientist fails a test and creates a Mutant that acts like a zombie but feels no pain. The Mutation becomes quickly contagious through the bodily fluids and Spreads through the americas. Before the borders close a few get through and spread the Mutation/Disease to the world.  You have no entered the zombie Apocalypse. You can not go outside because of the Mutant Zombie Cats that fly, nor can you set traps for birds since you caused them to become extinct. So you resort to going through the sewers to reach forests to find food. Eventually you and your party starve to death or must flee for land the Cat zombies haven't reached.

I wish for buckets of peoples blood! (Not my own, and Given legal documents so I can't be killed for it and non Diseased.)
