So I recently got a buncha new parts for an uberbuild, and upon completion of this build, I find my old hdd feels like being a dick and decides that it wants to blue screen on startup. Normally I would just reinstall Windows and hopefully be done with it, but my dvd drive uses an IDE interface, and my new motherboard only has SATA on it. So I can't do anything until I go out and get a new drive, and that might not even solve my problem.

Sounds like you attempted to just swap over your hard drive OS without formatting and doing a clean OS install
IF so, the BSOD you are getting is due to the hardware differences - it is looking (and loading drivers) for the old motherboard chipset and the like.

Sadly, you will have to get a new dvd drive to reinstall... I feel your pain

It should be up and running tomorrow after I pick up a SATA DVD Drive.
Plus, my new hardware will be able to run like 6 MC servers.
