In all seriousness, I like to think that in-game actions speak louder than systemically typed words, but that doesn't mean that the words are less important.

Well, for one, I'm mostly a lurker at heart; I learn from afar more easily.  And secondly, wouldn't I be getting to know the community in-game and more directly if I was appointed as an admin, nevermind the fact that I've met and know about quite a few CG-goers as is.

to be a real part of this community u must realize the forums are just as important as the servers.

Yes, the forums are important, as Admin specific information is posted.   Thus, the want for anyone, who wants to be an admin, to get familiar with the forums.  Besides, you also get to know more people...

I realize that it's important, but who's to say I don't know anything about the forums if I only have one post?  Granted, it could be that I've completely and utterly new, and thus only care about the game itself, or it could be that I do care about the servers first, while still keeping an eye on the forums and its activities.  To be completely honest, it's the latter.

Sadly, we cannot confirm you have been on the forums a long time, as you registered two days ago. 

I also understand there are those who never come to the forums and are active.  I also know they miss out on stuff by not looking at them from time to time.

One of the reasons it is frowned upon, to have your 1st post be for Admin, is due to the many who just pop up and automatically want to get Admin status, and then either abuse it, or never show back up...

I suppose I did jump the gun, and I apologize for that.  I can only hope that this does not void my chances of becoming an admin at some other point in time, when I'm more familiar with the forum and its members.
