Make ZPS Server have 10 maps or under

Due to how underpopulated the mod and how hard it has gotten to start up the server i would like to make a suggestion and get feedback

make the server have only popular maps like

zpo_harvest
zps_cineme
zpo_snuggles
etc.....


and cut out about 70% of the current map selection

it is eithier we have a server with limited maps and probably more populated or we have a server with no players but alot of maps and just a few cg members coming in from time to time


it is something i don't want to do either but it makes sense and it is something i think we should be willing to git it a try

I agree, we need to remove several of the maps, and look around for those maps that populate other servers.

I have been a bit frustrated, as I cannot play as often as I wish (laptop overheats after about an hour of play)

The one with Fog is written so bad...

I suggest talking to scottytabs as he plays a lot - to find new maps...

okay ya i definetly agree i have actually been looking around a bit watching my bro play and it seems CVG populates their server by biotec and aqutica in my opion the main maps that should stay are
1.snuggles (its like the legend and probably almost all of the admins favs defineitly mine lol)
2.deathtrap (their are actually alot of people that like this map)
3.harvest (just the oringinal u kinda have to have it)
4.armory (just the original armory none of that zombie aromory bullshit)
5.church seige final (this is still a great map but their are some pretty updated maps of this theirs a church map thats called the bunker its really good)
6.cineme (this is an oldie but still alot of people enjoy this)
7.one map we should add like i said is aquitica (it just good populater)
8.biotec (this is a classic and defineitly needs to stay)

now i have made 8 suggestions if anyone else can think of 2 more or find 2 more that populate will and we injoy then i think were set wat do u guys think do u all like the 8 i picked out their.

yes hallow people do like cabin maps i agree but i dont think we should put any cabin maps in if anything we should just put in the regular one but ya they do have a 24/7 server for biotec and my bro says some guy in CVG is creating a space biotec now that would great if we could find a map builder

Yes keep Armory (server populating) and a few fun maps, like  snuggles, and no maps with fog (poor frame rates, and lagging.)  Periodically, a fresh map would be advisable, as it will keep people interested...

While it might "help" populate, having only 10 maps, it will also deter other players from our server. I remember having only 4 pages of maps in nominate and hearing "Jesus this server doesn't have any maps".

Nothing's really going to help the server till we have more people playing on it..

pillz u are right we diffenitly need to get the server back to its original state and get the regular players back but at the same time when we have soooo many maps a group of people tend to choose a map that alot of people dont rlly like and then some people leave so maybe not 10 maps but id say it shouldnt be above 20 maps and ive been trying to recruit a few people but some people are more interested in the admin than in the forums but we will keep trying to recruit and populate

oh and i believe we do have a few regulars but the problem is the servers usally empty so they leave and join another server so what i suggest we start doing is whenever u see someone that uve seen on the server before add them to your friends list because i have one regular on my friends list and whenever i invite him he comes so its just the matter of picking out those regulars so just keep a close eye out
