The SAT is still more broadly accepted. I'd go with the SAT.

They don't. These are purely American tests, but if you plan on studying abroad, Inject, you could take them. :O Canadians just take a Provincial Standard test or something.

Take BOTH. My suggestion take the Princeton Review and/or Kaplan prep courses for both - it helps. Taking both is good because it may aid in scholarship getting, and acceptance in college... NOTE: The ACT is, IMHO, easier to take, as the majority of the test is reading comprehension, not necessarily specific to the topics...
