Well they did it to Wolfenstein and Serious Sam, so it's not a big surprise. I hope they remake other classics like Perfect Dark and Turok. :)

No, the law suit was because the game was delayed so long and they got sued for not fulfilling their end of the contract.  It was delayed because the big guy behind the project wanted it to be a masterpiece so he kept adding more and more so it just never got done.
