Cats or Dogs?

Initially, I intended on getting a reptillian pet. Now, I can only choose between a cat or a dog...

Which animal serves as a better companion?

Depends on what you want and basically in some points, what type of person you are.
Cats are great for their cleanliness and they are very soft animals meaning they don't get into much apart from maybe jumping on something you don't want them to jump on.
Dogs are usually general liked by your average guy. They are good for hunting and bonding. Problem is they are often quite messy and stinky in most terms. They require a lot more work to take care of depending on the dog. Some can't even be kept in a house.

I personally prefer cats because I find them small and cute. I happily own 2 cats and in the future I hope to get more :3

Depends.  You want something you have to take out to poo, but is loyal, friendly, and fun, go dog.

If you want something that poos in a box, does not have to be walked, may or may not give a rats butt about you, go cat...

I prefer cats.
They're loveable and playable.
But you have to teach it to use the litter box. >_>

I love cats, but I'm sadly very allergic to them. I love my dog though, I've managed to train her to understand a nice vocabulary of words and shes very obediant. Any animal will do, its just a matter of putting time into them.

instead of having to worry about a real life pet, why not settle of a virtual pet? No need to take it out, or feed it real food, makes you look like more of a lonely loser than you already are, And many more.
