The movie was okay but I just hate how popular it became.  All these dumbasses broadcasting their "intelligence" because they figured out the plot. It's like what happened with Twilight, except Twilight was sincerely terrible. I can't tell you how many times I've been called a "stupid-idiot" just because I said I didn't like the movie, or said it was nothing more than decent.

Honestly, there are tons of plot holes, continuity errors, unexplained events, and that dang Hans Zimmer guy (XD), but generally the movie played out well. It just wasn't on par with other Nolan films like The Prestige and Memento.

I gave it a 6/10

BUT SINCE IT GOT BUMPED, I MIGHT AS WELL COMMENT.

Movie sucked. Really overhyped. People saw Chris Nolan's name on it, went IS THAT THE GUY THAT DID THE DARK KNIGHT, THIS HAAAAS TO BE AWESOME!

It is also the single most pretentious movie of all time. It is intentionally confusing to make it seem "intelligent." It had way too many characters that no one really gave a fuck about, and I could hardly remember half their names by the end of the movie. There were a million and a half subplots that went nowhere, making me question why they even bothered including them. Since they're in dreams and could magically conjure up guns, why didn't they just conjure up some bullet proof armor? Maybe then they wouldn't need to have an over dramatic death for high powered Asian business man that could make criminal records disappear.

tl;dr Messy story lines do not make a movie intelligent, and just because you understood a shitty plot does not make you the ever so intelligent person you think you are.
