Accepted?  Dude, Him was one of the creepiest things ever when I was a kid, there was always something so creepy and 'wrong' about Him to me cause basically the devil.

Looks awfully alot like Eirc. Back onto HIM!. I never really questioned that he dressed like a she because people who were this young to actually watch the show never really judge him on his appearance just except that he was a villain.

The thing is, you generally don't question things when you're a kid and for some people that lasts even into adulthood. So you shouldn't have expected yourself to question it. All of the information required to watch the show was laid out for you; he's the bad guy and his plans get foiled in every episode.
