The game Roblox, how I miss it so...

Back in 2007-2009 this was one of the most fun and enjoyable games ive ever experienced.
It had a sparkle like no other, a scriptable game where all you do is make games.
It was so enjoyable, had a community like no other.
But after they started advertising more, and they released a new way for non-registered players to play, as guests, they game and community began to fall apart.
It crumbled under the trample of thousands upon thousands of new players. The community got stomped into the floor by the over-encumbering weight of these people who began to tear apart everything that was good about the game.
It fell apart, evolved into something completely different.
And I couldn't take it. I had to leave, it wasn't the same any more.
But god I miss this game.

Anyway now that im done spilling my nostalgia juices all over the wall, has anyone else played this game, before it went to complete and utter shit?

Of course. I went back a couple months ago, just to see what has changed. Apparently, I own hats and gear that are vintage or some shit. My account is worth roughly 600$. What the fuck.

It did have a charm back when I was a kid, but it suffers the same fate that happy wheels does: Relying on kids to make the levels

And so you get 500 obstacles, 600 skateparks, 8000 Eat Me levels, 300 Minecart levels, and the occasional original level made by someone who knows what they are doing (Looking at StickMasterLuke)

I had a game where you can mine coal and transport it over tracks.
A mining game where ou can mine it into small pieces and bing it back to the refinery.
And like a pizza game where you make and deliver pizza.

My little sister has been playing Roblox since she was seven or eight, and now three years later she still plays it with her boyfriend all the time.

I used to always be like "Why are you playing that game, play a real game loser" and stuff. I played a few of the obstacle levels with her and I admit they are somewhat entertaining because they're like Deathruns or puzzle maps in ZPS/HL2DM so I was half decent at it.

Everyone around me was like 5-12 years old though and while it's entertaining at first it eventually starts to annoy me. Especially when some 7 year old is politely trash talking you as he dominates the scoreboards.

I just don't like it because my sister chooses to play this game instead of Portal 2, L4D, HL2 or the other games I got her. YOU HAVE DOOM 3 AND YOU'RE STILL PLAYING ROBLOX, /flips table.

I used to love this game till a few years ago, basically what I'm saying is a repetition of Gobips, Leet's, Finniespin, and etc. Tycoons were my favorite since one I got rich enough I'd give the noobs free money =}.

They monetized the shit out of it and it went down hill.

I have some fond memories playing shitloads of farm tycoon and that sword arena game. I also remember some airport game thing, you had a drive tool and a fly tool. The fly tool worked on the bus, so I was crashing buses into airplanes.

EDIT: Holy shit my map descriptions on there make me want to puke.

I was DFA34 but a quit a while back, last time I was on was for probably like a year ago, and I was only on for about 15 minutes.

When I played roblox holy shit the fun I had on that game, until everything went to shit. Nowadays, you need fucking builders club and up to even join places, buy stuff, etc... I logged on a few minutes ago on my accounts DFA35 and Hopdiddi. Apparently some hats I have on there are worth like 45-50k+ robux, like I care, but sometimes YOU HAVE TO PAY MONEY IN REAL LIFE, to join a game. Seriously? That's bullshit.
