Dragonborn Problems

Started Playing Skyrim again since i got two of my three DLC's installed. Problem is it doesn't load my previous save, three things happen when i do:

1) make my horse the main character and doesn't allow me to control it. even ran off the cliff and left me looking at a green screen -.-

2) zoom out and it looks like i fell out of the world, nothing is rendered but still allows me to open doors i cant see -.-

3) shows my character and allows me to move it but the camera stays on my horse


What i tried:
 
- check to see if i saved my game on any of there commands ( TCL,TFC) .. i didn't
- tried killing the horse... became an immortal horse
- loading previous saves. .. still glitched
- launching Skyrim in offline mode


Other info:
* windows 8 < well aware how some of you might feel
* i launch from steam
* my game is modded :



ANY suggestions on how to get my Dragonborn life back?

Bethesda game + loadsamods = you need to start a new game because corruption.

Need to do what molk said just restart steam and verify game cache

did that.. after verifying the cashe i get this msg "1 file failed to validate and will reacquired." is there a way to update steam

Exit steam and then restart it, should download the missing file

well i figured it out.. it was actually one of my mods.. "wild horses" its a shame really good mod .. validated the steam cashe for the game and a file still failed.. but ran the game on one of the saves that was corrupted and it worked perfectly so ill leave it as that for now. thanks for the help everyone got my dragonborn life back wooh
