I'm out, Vent is the most annoying thing when all the games are First Person Shooters and I don't have any buttons to assign because i'm USING everything. I have no issues with steam or even in-game voice, but vent is a pain.

Honestly, a steam voice chat works best imo.

I find steam voice chat is quiet so you really can't hear the other person(s) mid-game ,but other than that I see no other problems with it

Why would I want to have to listen to everyone else who feels like joining the channel in Vent when I can do Steam group chat with just my friends who are in the game I'm playing.

Bull Crap Sir. There are always buttons left.
And most people have a mouse with 4-5 Buttons. It's usually quite wise to use one of them.

Bind talk in vent to mouse 3 (As in you push in the scroll wheel to talk) or just... yu know... have it on always on :/

I have a 3 button mouse, if I had a mouse with more buttons then I probably wouldn't have such a problem with it, but I also haven't found a 5+ button mouse that didn't annoy that crap out of me. ever think of that? How about that I use the scroll wheel and so Mouse 3 would interrupt that.

All my weapon functions go on the mouse, and all the buttons around wasd are various combat adn contextual commands

Jeez guys. People in vent understand if you have background noise, so whats the problem with keeping on always talk? And for Pck, scrolling doesn't interrupt the mouse 3 button, in order to talk you'll have to actually PUSH IN the middle mouse button. That's what I have it bound to anyway.
