I'm currently playing skrim and can't decide what I would like to be. So, if you guys could post what you like to play as, it would help me decide.

I'm trying to get into magic but hate enchanting. I also want to stay away from pure warriors and stealth mage thingy stuff.

Also if you could say what weapons/schools of magic/armor you use that help aswell.

I had the most fun being a stealthy wood elf using knives and a bow. The Dark Brotherhood is easily one of the better faction quests of the game. And you'll eventually get good enough to leap off a mountain and one-hit-KO a dragon.

Played as a bosmer archer and loved it. But don't want to use bows to much.

You could use both sneak and destruction magic, but that's dangerous because magic attracts attention. You could use alchemy to poison weapons if you don't mind eating every plant you stumble across.

Like I said I don't want to be a stealth mage. I also hate alchemy... confusing to meh

I'm sorry rainbow, really all you have for options is stealth assassin (meelee or ranged or both), stealth mage (not as good without mods that fix sneak attack spells), brute warrior, spellsword, full mage.  Other combos are do-able but much less viable, you have to really map out what perks you want with that sort of mix and match.

There's a lot more possibilities with some of the really nice (and balanced, not overpowered) mods on the Steam Workshop, but you have chosen to play on the gross Xbox so you're out of luck there.

Enchanting is a bit boring, but without it your characters will never be as good as they could be.

Gunna try a breton mage. If I don't like that I'll either try a dual weapon guy or melee assassin

Illusion magic involves changing enemy behavior and invisibility. I would only suggest doing it if you're a masochist.

Congratulations you have contradicted yourself


Yes make sure to focus on stamina more than health (not by a ton, but you will need more stamina) if you are going dual swords and heavy armor.  Smithing is a must for any character using weapons or armor.  Also if you haven't tried it, go werewolf too
