Yes please get on topic, this is not a pony debate.

This is about people teaching their own children to hate others instead of trying to find some kind of middle ground and trying to stop the cycle of hate.

Its not a hippie thing, its common sense. A eye for an eye makes the world blind. Holding grudges will never solve problems and in the end only heads us down the path of war, extermination and well, you get the drift.
