I fail to see where the irony is.

My guild in WoW wants me to get the gear for my second talent tree (Which is ranged DPS, my main is melee). The problem is, getting a full set of gear would take so much time that i don't even feel like i want to bother getting it. That along with Mist of Pandaria coming out in a month.

It is arguable that any game allows you to take control of another person's life, sure The Sims may focus on finer points but in games such as COD or Madden '12 or even Minecraft you take control of a person's life, only in a specific time of their life mind you, but you control them nonetheless.

He means it's funny how your playing a game about making somene else go through their (somewhat) realistic daily routine and lifestyle while you are not doing that in your own life.
