While I have to agree Cata sucked...I do not agree that vanilla does not count.
If vanilla is not number 1 in the series then the following expansions do not deserve numbers either.

Not all 3rd installments of franchises suck, Super Mario 3 for instance I feel is the best one of all those games.

Valve is incapable of releasing bad games. Especially on the game that won GOTY 200 trillion times and provided an engine for a couple hundred mods.
