Seeing as everything is back to normal and running, I decided it was time to repost this thread.

I'll make this quick, you NEED to download Maptool because that's what we will use. (if it don't we'll use irc or skype). Link:http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=maptool

Obviously, you need to need to know the rules to DND 4e. If you don't have a book you can VERY EASILY find torrents(which I'm not allowed to link according to kwaurtz). Seriously they don't even take long to download.

I also ask that you find a way to post your character sheets in this thread.

Oh yeah, and no spamming/uselss talk. Only post if your genuinely interested in playing or just want to talk about DnD.

I've never played before but I'd be interested. Character design help would be helpful. I learn fast and will get the rule book asap.

If you want to test the waters before picking up the core books, or just want an easy way to create a character along with an adventure book, pick up this:

It has a really easy step by step character creation thingy, and 2 basic rule books.
Normally, I'd just say go get the core books and skip this, since the core books have all the information that the above set has(with the exception of character creation) but it will teach you the rules in a very easy to understand way, plus you get a map and tokens in it.

I'll post my character sheet once I scan it. Also, I have a different character sheet format than what is on the wizards site, so don't be all like "wait wut" when you see it.

Just saying, if we want to store all the Character Sheets in one place we could just put together a dropbox so we wouldn't have to continuously re-upload character info when changes are made.

Because with out trying I made a level 8 Warlock with 78 hp 28 AC +8 to hit mele and +8 on spells.
And NOTHING CAN TOUCH ME MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

As for the DND, I'm in.

Matches take forever and if you guys genuinely plan on getting a game set up, voice communication should be used (preferrably vent? )

One question, what are we going to do about a Die(dice)?
If I remember correctly, the entire game revolves around dice-rolls.



Character design is not compulsory, but you can mandate it if you wish.

Im just messing with you guys. I have adnd dnd 3.0\5 and all the player guides and equipment etc.I would like to try it. Although I feel white wolff and pinacle stuff is better. eh. what level, what race, feat, class restrictions and what area.(that way I know if I should get a dragon mark.)

*edit* I also suggest you guys learn up on how to use maptool, maptool's simple but that's only if you know what your doing.

We'll probably have a practice night to play around with and get used to maptool and 4e
