I'd been playing TTT for about the past hour and a half on the server. I was chosen as Innocent, and further on in the game, going underground under the Lighthouse, I found a player chasing another with a Knife (This was the administrator Remscar). I shot him, and accidently crossfired to the other player (It was a H.U.G.E., what do you expect?). The other player continued to try to kill me, shouting "It's Newbie, it's Newbie!", and I had also killed him, inable to state that I had practically saved his life, without risking mine. Considering he was with a traitor, he could've easily had been a traitor himself.. but he was not.
About 5 seconds later, I receive this:
Disconnect: Kicked by Console : Permabanned! (2 RDMs).
Disconnect: Kicked by Console : Permabanned! (2 RDMs).

No questions asked, or anything, and I get permanently banned, for a misinterpreted, small offense. I'm not entirely sure whom the second player was, either.

Permaban? There is no way it should be that.
We will have to see what Remscar has to say about this himself..

Is there any chance you left the server after an RDM? Because that usually is a permaban from what i've seen.

dwight no that is usually a 1-2 week ban, unless it is like a repeat thing or mass rdm before leave

Indeed.. and I was really confused about it. I don't really see how I'm at fault at all, either. It's disappointing, really.

It never says "Banned by console: <reason>". It KICKs you from the server, and the ban prevents you from rejoining. If you were banned, but not kicked, you would still be within the server until you disconnect.

No, I hadn't. I was still within the server, half-way typing a message to the innocent player I had killed, attempting to apologize\confirm why I'd killed him, whenever I was permanently banned.
