Hey, I just registered to defend myself here.

OP joined the server and immediately starting cursing, and generally offending me in any manner he could. I'm not sure why he did this to be honest. One round I accidentally killed friendlies because one of the traitors (Armando) was manipulating me. Seeing how far this has gone I figured I'd try not to get banned here. I really do enjoy the conjoint-gaming server so hopefully we can put this aside ourselves and move on as people.

A lot of people seemed to side with him on this issue, most likely because he's a regular in the server and I'm only a newcomer. A player named "Hacking" in particular seemed fond of me, insulting me with homophobic slurs, etc.

If an admin could look over the communication (it was all via microphone) and see that this abuse took place that would be wonderful -- I don't request they get punished, but I hope that in reviewing the communication logs you'll see that I am in the clear.

Often, my behavior is interpreted as trolling or whatnot just because of the way I contradict others on the microphone -- people by nature get offended by this, but I see it as a search for the truth, some truth, a universal truth. Nobody seems to enjoy getting into dialogues with me, and usually react with some kind of offensive ad hominem insult that I report, but otherwise brush off. The player "Hacking" in particular went on an RDM spree of me for about 6 rounds when the admin at the time disconnected, and it generally degraded past then to the point where I couldn't even play on the server.

There were a few good people that understood that I was innocent, and did not accuse me or attack me in anyway. Those people were the reason why I stayed on for as long as I did; but in general, it seems like the conjoint gaming community was hostile towards me for some reason that I do not understand.

I find this ban request to be completely immature and uncalled for -- and I am offended by it. After this experience, I'm really not sure if I want to come back to your server if this kind of behavior is tolerated.

No proper evidence, no ban. Your picture shows absolutely nothing, as he could have killed two traitors, or defended himself.

Gentlemen, understand that there is this thing called damagelogs. the command is ttt_print_damagelogs. If you don't have a picture of them, or somebody's karma below 700, then we will do nothing to ban them. That includes pasting text, as its too easy to change that. Get proper pictures or nothing will happen.

Also considering the evidence posted, then the fact you call him "a bitch", does not help your case at all Past, as it looks more like you don't like him more then him breaking any rules. You have 24 hours to paste proper evidence otherwise this ban request is denied.

No, he shouldn't be. 2 rdms does not a ban make. Even the damagelogs show 2 rdms. The 3rd one he killed (a traitor) had been damaging an inno .05 seconds prior to 1420 killing him. Guys, he even stuck up the "a traitor was manipulating me" explanation. That isn't punishable if he was being manipulated.


Don't ban this guy. Seriously.

This seems like 1 round not going past's way, so he got angry and reported it.

Do not ban this guy without further evidence, there is nothing that points to him being a troll, except for some questionable damage logs.

Well, he's already weekbanned for karma. We don't ban any longer than a week for that. If someone has more evidence against this guy PM it to me, but for the meantime the weekban is it, thread locked.
