Needs new ZM Rulez or Refixed.

I was on the ZM server and we will need to remove and reword some of the rulez. I typed in MOTD and it has these rulez.


1. Racism is strictly prohibited and will be punished harshly.
Community Rule

2. Treat everybody with courtesy and respect.
Stayz and will need to have some punishmentz for people trolling or harrasing.

3. Be conservative on mic use. (No spamming, screaming... etc.)
Stayz and it currently a rule on the server.

4. You can use HLDJ in the server (look at rule 16 for more)
Needz to be removed.

5. Do not recruit for other communities.
Stays

6. ANY HACKING WILL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM ALL SERVERS.

7. Ghosters will be slayed (Telling where the ZM's traps are...etc.)
I really don't know how to fully tell on this. Opinion?

8. No porn sprays, you will be warned and if you don't comply to change your spray you will be kicked or banned.

9. Do not take anyone's names, Tony Swans will be renamed because of management issues.
Stayz and needs to be reworked with punishmentz on abuserz. Also needs to be a rule on Profanity name and prohibited namez. Need to take a vote.

10. Don't troll
Well this is kinda just blank and needs more info.

11. Respect the administrators
Can be combined with rule 2.

12. As ZM, do not rejoin the server to go around being ZM, Press ESC, Go to the Zombie Master Game Information and change your participation to prefer as survivor.
Needs punishmentz and warningz stated.

13. If your voice is deemed to be annoying you will be requested to stop talking, if you're still talking you may be muted.
Will stay but needz to be refixed.

14. Sexism is NOT ALLOWED ON ANY CG SERVER.

15. Favoritism is not allowed, everyone will be treated equally.
Had Problemz with this in the past, it will also stay.

16. Everyone will get a chance to play their HLDJ Clips, but if it is only to troll, shock, or if the quality is bad you will be warned/muted depending on the severity.
Needz to be removed due to no mic spamming rule.

17. Prop jumping will result in a slay or slap.
Need to have a list on mapz with this problem. It will help on figuring on punsihmentz on each map.

Map specific rules:

On zm_banana:  Do not close the airlock unless everyone is inside (Slay)

On zm_asdf & zm_random: Don't camp at traps and don't force the ZM to activate traps for you just try your luck and run across. (Slap)

These Rulez will stay seeing how these are always being abused.

These are Opinion Rulez and we will need to go through a vote on these. Some of them need to be refixed and redefined with punishmentz. So plz post some opinionz.

Also I'm a Vet Admin on ZM. I checked Earlier.

A bit abrupt Sejo... considering you've been dormant for just as long as me, and also only ever play once every blue moon.

I see zero reason to change any of these.  Sammy uses HLDJ and its entertaining and fun.  Other people like Westy use it to play good music and quietly.  The server has been running fine the last few months in regard to dealing with troublemakers, so I have no clue what you talking about Sejo. 

Leave rules the same.

Like anyone really reads the rules anyway, these are fine since I'm sure the Admins understand  and can explain when first warning players that they're about to cross a line.

I'd like a list of punishments, for certain, some of these aren't descriptive in the punishments area. But yes, some of these rules can be merged.

We have no HA... Inject fixed the motd and put these 'temporary' rules up. Yes they need tweaking, but Inject hasnt got a world of time to deal with it... plus there are 101 other problems that also need fixing, I think rule tweaks are rather far down the list...

Seriously, getting plugins to fix the map duration and map voting are WAY more important than condensing some of the rules together and changing the wording.

Well may I humbly request that when you do updates, first you work with Sammy on the map voting plugin?  Everyone really wants to be able to do a vote at the end instead of requiring an RTV to vote for maps, seeing as how the server crashes happen mostly on RTV's

Inject already knows, but for Sejo, and the others who may want to know... these are the outstanding issues:

Specific maps (mainly deathruns) immediately changing mapcycle to desert skylab.
Side-menu plugin for admin console, and rtv as well as votes etc.
Hunter/ Hulk spawns have been fixed, but still a bit rediculous when 7+ survivors (2 hulks/banshees per survivor)
Maptimes need adding instead of Round-based maps.
Votemap introduced before map end (Ties in with above point)
Maps need removing (still being discussed)

Just off the top of my head, any I missed, post and I'll edit.

Edit: Zombie Master Resources: Per survivor death/kill +500 (instead of 200)
Resources Per 5 sec needs buffing, its very low.
Cost of ZM explosion needs nerfing, (currently 400, I suggest 250)

Not sure what causes it but it has happened 3 times in my experience where I have a few thousand resources but can't use explosion or hidden spawn.

No idea how to fix it just thought I would mention since you are listing issues to fix.

it's the version of bman that doesn't have _pr on the end of it. the map sets those variables.
the reason the _pr version exists is because i went and edited the map a long time ago to fix that.
