Desura looks terrible, and almost an exact replica of steam. The theme i the same where they put stuff on the client is the same. Just dont try it.

Had to delete the first part since it would go under personal attacks. Desura IS a steam-like tool but its for mods and indie games. It mostly provides the service of getting non-steam indie games. The most useful part (for now) is that you can get non-steam mods and mods without a good auto-updater to update without having to download 300MB patches all the time. Also serves as a digital distribution service for indie games. The point of that is that once it gets bigger, it helps indie devs sell games, similar to the way steam works. Its so big that people know that they can trust it. It just needs time to build up to that size. If you are someone who does not play non-steam mods then you will not find a use for it. If you do play a lot of mods and know how annoying it is to DL huge patches all the time and go long times without patches you will get why its useful.
Oh my god. Hair Slut I love you.
