I just don't understand why you would refuse to play it, like you can't even call yourself a fan of Zelda if you never played the original OoT or at least the newer versions released for Gamecube/DS. That's like a 12 year old who plays Sonic Unleashed and claims to love Sonic and thinks that's the best sonic game there ever could be.

You're the one with the thread asking people what games you should play; play OoT! Watch a play through AT LEASTTT.

I like Zelda games, i wouldnt say im a huge fan of it, i could say im a MINOR fan, but im not going to go out of my way to buy some older zelda games just to say i played it or to say im a fan, because truthfully i dont feel like it. I never even said i was a fan of Zelda anyway. I also don't feel like going through the "Dreaded water temple" either.

Saying you've never played oot to me is like saying you'vee never played mario.  It's a classic and needs to be tried, emulate it.

Also I've lost a considerable amount of respect for you seeing as you haven't played oot and run IE for a browser XD jk you're fine

:l I'm not telling you to play it so you can say you played it, or to consider yourself a fan; I'm just saying you need to play it because it's a great fucking game, it's one of the best games ever if not the best. It's like you're one of the twelve year olds who thought SONIC UNLEASHED was the best Sonic game ever and refuses to play the older ones to even compare. That way you'll understand everyone's opinion on why they think OoT was the best; I mean I could care less if you play it or not I just haven't heard a remotely valid reason not to play it, and can't even fathom one.

The only people who don't like Zelda never gave it much of a chance; my friend saw me playing it once and said ughhh, those games are so boring though aren't they? You run around solve puzzles and barely kill things; the only games he plays are CoD and Racing games.. He sat down with me and played 3 hours of Zelda and then he played through the entire game and watched me play through a lot of Majora's mask. THE GAME EVEN TURNS COD FANS INTO RPG FANS.

Some claim Skyward Sword is the best one out there; and it probably is, if Zelda hadn't topped OoT yet with all the new capabilities I would of been upset. Still nothing compares to the story of OoT that has become the basis for Zelda stories and gameplay ever since. The first 3D Zelda revolutionized the game and set the bar for all the others; just as Super Mario 64 did, and many others..
