Logitech headset fixing/repairs

So, instead of doing the smart thing to do and check if the warranty is still up, I am going to try repairing my headset.
The sound still works, meaning I can still listen to it, so I am guessing it is the actual microphone on the headset.
(It isn't a USB microphone, not sure about the model of the headset)
It was broken when I caught my foot on a wire and pulled it loose (happened multiple times)
I've looked at the box with the volume and turning the mic on and off on it, nothing seemed to be the problem.

Any tips on where I should look?

If you tripped on it you may have pulled the wires apart even though it doesn't look like it. Make sure you double check all the wires and see if they are still set properly. From there try in game volumes and unplugging and replugging in. If that doesn't work I dunno you may have broken it somewhere

It looks like some bend in the part that I stick in ( I don't know what they are called D: but it's where I connect it to the computer, an audio jack or sometin)

I bent it a certain way, it sounds better.
