Vista sucked. Windows 7 is amazing.

Not to be a buzz kill, but other than SSD support, an updated version of Vista, and an updated version of 7, are nearly identical, except for some interface changes. I have Vista, and it works great. Saying 7 is better is ignorant, (not calling you ignorant, more oblivious Dark Emo ;]) 7 was made because everybody hated Vista from the start, so they took the latest update of Vista, slammed a new name on it, gave it some sexy marketing, and sold it. Literally the same OS. So don't say one's better than the other, because they are in nearly every way identical.

there are so many bugs and glitches and a shit ton of other problems

 windows aero not working was the most annoying bug in Vista and im sure there are many people on the forums that can agree that vista sucks balls

You obviously didn't read what I wrote. 7 IS Vista. 7 has A LOT of issues as-well, in fact, in some places more than Vista. I have never had an issue with Windows Aero, but then again, I haven't had many with 7 either. The point is, they're the same OS, the only, and I said ONLY, reason people think its bad is because Microsoft rushed the release before it was stable. With updates, it is as stable as 7, because technically, they're the same thing. Saying Vista sucks is just listening to what the media told you about Vista. I love both OS's, but there's no point in bashing Vista, because, by extension, you're bashing 7.

I have a windows 7 and Vista. I can honestly say the second I got my Windows 7 computer
my Vista became a dead weight. Vista was lagy as shit for me, gave me so many errors, I got a blue screen once, It was hacked, it would delete stuff I dont want it to, and worse of all it would start installing games I uninstalled. Which took all my space and ram. Some times though my Vista is pretty good. It can run some stuff I like about the same as 7 with some editing. I can play TTT the same speed as my windows 7 if I turn the graphics extreemly down to where it looks like shit- Actually it is just a dead Weight. I am clearing that behemoth of a computer out and selling it the second I can for more games, space, and ram on my 7.

So far, I have found instability issues due to the mere repackaging, and not updating, Vista Drivers for 7.  Yes, I am talking to YOU nvidia. You lazy bastards.

7 boots faster than even the XP designed for netbooks. Lets see.  I have owned 95, XP, Vista and now 7.  I have dealt with 3.1, 3.1 with internet, 95, Me, XP(Home, and Corporate), Vista 32 and 64, and now Win 7 home "premium" 64.  This one is not the most stable, yet.  But you can adjust the settings a bit more than the older systems.

Personally, I miss my 95 version 2222 - That NEVER crashed, and was speedier on the same equipment than XP.
