more houses + more rooms = more lag also. Every darkrp server I have been on never has the whole server rping, which is why I suggested the simple and less laggy version of downtown which is used on most servers. You also have to think of it this way. Everyone has gm_construct, a majority has rp_downtownv2, not many people have the other versions of downtown. I've never seen a server capable of allowing rp_downtown to download from the server itself which means people will have to come on gmod to get it. It's a safe assumption that people get on a game to play it, they will join another server instead of going on gmod.org to download a map they dont have. That is why i suggested using gm_construct in the other thread to only start out with so we can build a darkrp community, then switch over to downtown.

Uncertain assumptions are bad.

Darkrp without the ability to make contraptions is a horrible server.I've been playing on steam for almost 11 years, before gmod. I know what I am talking about when it comes to servers stability. -_-
Adv dupe comes with wiremod svn. The server already has it so you don't need to worry. If ULX or ASS_mod is used then there is a function that says 'admin_has_no_limits.' When you set that to 1, you can spawn how ever many of anything that you want. Of course it should be used in moderation so the server doesn't crash.If you need e2 help, my non-auto gunshop (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=108075) has 2 e2 chips out in the open which can help you with console screens, using strings to change text screens, using rangers, and playing music on an e2 chip.Everything in my profile using e2 and is pretty simple to understand once you examine it. I'd suggest looking at whack-a-bottle's (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=99230) e2 chip. It's invisible on the inside.
